Dr. Jennifer Kim Loomis, DO
Dr. Jennifer Loomis is a graduate of Touro University College of Osteopathic Medicine and UCLA Family medicine residency program. She is board certified in family medicine and has an integrative medicine and functional medicine approach to treating patients. Additionally, Dr. Loomis has advanced training in nutrition and bioidentical hormone replacement therapy and is a fellow with the American Academy of Family Physicians.
Dr. Loomis practices in Los Alamitos, CA and has consulted patients throughout the state. In addition, she is a clinical preceptor and teaches medical students and physician assistants from USC, Western University and Touro University Medical Schools.
The focus of her practice is to help patients achieve optimal health by balancing nutritional and hormonal biochemistries. Dr. Loomis is passionate about teaching patients to help themselves by adopting healthy lifestyle habits. Her areas of interest within medicine include: healthy aging, weight loss, functional gastrointestinal health, systemic inflammation, autoimmune disorders, stress and mental health.
Dr. Loomis enjoys spending time with her family and teaching her two young daughters to appreciate nature through trail hikes, bike rides and skiing. Dr. Loomis is passionate about protecting the environment and participates in local beach clean ups with her girls. She also represents Los Alamitos Medical Center as a volunteer speaker for the community educating on topics such as heart disease, nutrition, and healthy living.
Dr. Loomis welcomes patients from Anaheim, Garden Grove, Long Beach, Los Alamitos, Huntington Beach and nearby areas.
